Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Almost done with my UX design certification :). Right now I am asking for feedback on visual design, navigation cues, and user flow. If you have 5 minutes, I would be forever grateful! Thank you so much.

Hey Hannah! Love this idea. Here's what jumped out so far;
-Overall, perhaps increasing the margin around the sides so you have some room for the individual components to breathe? The "Moodboard" is a great example of good spacing on either side that feels comfortable to look at! One idea of how you can do this is scaling the text input box to be the same size as the "moodboard."

-Lessons pictures: The indication that more is available is intriguing, but perhaps it's a little abrupt where it meets the end of the screen? One idea is greying out the picture of the lesson that's just off-screen so you have a sense of it being far away. You could also consider adding arrows to toggle between lessons.

-Lessons Text Descriptions: The yellow text is a bit too close in color to the background and it also gets lost under the purple drop shadow. If you're set on the yellow text, perhaps it would enhance the readability to nudge it down so it's not butting up against the photo. A similar theme of breathing space! Like I mentioned above!

-Text Headers: Take a look at your headers. Your "moodboard" and "suggested for you" are in alignment, but "Let's Focus" and "Ready for a story" are having their own party! If you have a grid or ruler to make sure they all lineup, it will save your eyes! 🙂

-MoodBoard components: Have you thought about aligning the emoji's to the center of the box? Also, aligning the "see all" button either in the corner (with breathing room!) or put it evenly in the center so it dosen't look like it's floating.

-I really like your bottom nav bar! The icon's are sweet. Just make sure they're all the same size and line weight so they're cohisive. 🙂

I responded to your form as well, but I thought I'd summarize the final thoughts here as well.;
Love the app, I'd just love to see how a cohesive intention is worked through so it's clear how this is an emotional wellbeing app for children. Right now, it reads a little more like a story book app with an emotions tracker attached. The idea is definitely on the right path, it could just use some directional fine-tuning. I'm also not quite clear on what each of the bottom navigational buttons are supposed to house, but it could just be because this is a work-in-process protoype! I love the idea of the characters, but not sure what role they play. Are the stories organized by character? If so, that's great! Again, because this is an emotional wellness app, perhaps it would be useful for the user to have a color key to indicate what emotion is present in each story.
