I'm creating a personal logo and these are primary designs. Any thoughts or feedback?

I believe this would have better harmony by making the bottom cap heights the same.

I agree with the previous comment and from the two options that are provided I like the second one. The slight contrast in the weight adds interest. Shows that there is equal importance given to both the letters j and k. Also this way it is more evident that the stem of the letter k is being used to denote the letter j and the leg of the letter k is being used to denote the actual letter k.

The only concern that I have with this design all together is that if it ever gets adapted to a smaller size it might just look like a stylized letter k and completely hide the J element in it.

Also be careful on how you approach the final touches of the design. There many variations of this logo.
