I would say for anyone transitioning into a design field, the biggest help is going to be making new projects that accurately show where you want to be going into, it's okay that they're passion projects because it's mostly for showing your thinking, insights, process, etc

#

and you'll learn a TON just doing rather than reading and not trying anything

#

Like especially if you send it in #💫design-feedback to get feedback on certain things you'll learn a lot

I would also say try to lean into what makes you unique. If your background gives you additional insight into something, highlight it.

Do you have any advice on how to present those passion projects in say a portfolio/case study situation? Maybe because I am coming fresh off of a bootcamp but the idea of making sure everything fits into a case study has been burned into my brain hahaha

Having a unique perspective that gives you new and different ideas than everyone else is valuable.

#

Bootcamps do this horrible thing where they make you think everything has to fit into a box.

No real work follows the "polished bootcamp case study" format
