Hey guys, I'm a software engineer building my first portfolio site and I wanted a little icon for the top left corner. My initials are MM, so I was thinking something along the lines of two nested M characters. I was looking at some design archive sites last night and found inspiration from the N in "design" in the second photo.
When I mocked up the design in a vector graphic, the pixels were slightly off when i pushed the blue layer down and to the left. I kind of like the blue peeking out of the top left of the rightmost triangle, but I don't know if there's some heuristic or guidance I should be aware of before committing. Would also just like some feedback on the actual concept.
