Looks clean, I'd say make the orange color for the G the same as the orange. It will still communicate the look you're going for but would definitely be more seamless.

You're relying on colour for distinction between the orange & the background - this is a no no in the world of people being colourblind. I'd lighten the background considerably and make the orange more vibrant like a tangelo orange.
Otherwise nice!
