#Which layout feels more comfortable for

Thinking about Larry and Rodger here.
I think the split of left handed / right handed is ~1:9 ?
This UI is definitely chiral - I'm right handed, and I like B because I'm looking for interactive elements that are easy to access. A's position for the timer is a bit awkward, I notice I have a hard time spotting or considering it when I'm imagining using the app.
However, B also violates the idea of "line length" - that full width textarea is probably too many chars wide in this layout, so by making the timer easy to access, you make the notes hard to read 🙁
@obsidian pawn That makes sense, thanks for pointing that out.
One thing to add for context: this app is intended for pilots, who generally use technology very minimally during operations. My goal was to keep the interface as simple as possible and reduce the number of clicks and interactions to an absolute minimum.
The timer and calculated time are the most critical elements. Notes are important, but not time-critical or action-driven.
Given that, what would you recommend to keep notes readable without increasing complexity or interaction?
What do you think about this one?
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, really helpful!
