The aesthetic is wonderful!
Love the concept, only pointer is cream background along with cards with a similar colour reduces it's standout, perhaps a darker background would contrast better but it's really awesome and I loved your dribble explanation regarding your thoughts process and trying not to overwhelm a user perhaps already in distress, keep it up!
