UPDATE!!!
Hey guys,

first of all – thanks a lot for your detailed feedback! 🙂
During the revision process, I felt that the design was too basic and not “premium” enough for what the brand identity stands for.
So, I recreated a new logo that aligns better with the brand’s mission and vision.
I also changed the colors, added some brand assets and a pattern and created a few mockups.

I’m really excited to hear your thoughts! 🙂
A brand board will follow in the next few days.

Hey Design Buddies! 🙂

I’m currently working on a branding project for my portfolio: Botanic Brew – a tea and herbal coffee brand that focuses on natural ingredients, sustainability, and inner calm.

I’ve created an initial brand guideline sheet and would love to get your feedback – especially on the logo, color palette, and typography.

This is my first real attempt at creating a full brand identity, and I’m still practicing how to create good mockups – so if you have any tips or resources for that, I’d love to hear them!

I appreciate any kind of feedback, big or small! 🙏
Thanks in advance!

Sabrina

On the first logo:

  • Make the right alignment of the words equal (end on the same line)
  • Make the "arc" the same height as the Brew word

This will make the first logo easier to the eye

Also, I suggest having a striking color. I think red or yellow can be good choices for botanical.

Thank you so much for your feedback!

I really appreciate it and will definitely put it into action. I also love your idea regarding the colors!

Thanks a lot! 🙂

Love the design!

The only thing I'd change is to make the last frame background color same as color of leaves of the frame before

While I love this and think it’s great, I agree about a pop of color somewhere.

Also, sometimes with logos people put things in it that aren’t needed, for example the rainbow. It looks like you have rainbows and leaves, and circles, maybe choose one or the other. Personally I’d go with the leaves.

And Renato has good call outs about alignment and height. That’s all fine tuning but will help create a logo that’s seamless

Logo looks lovely

I agree with Renato, the rainbow could have same size as BO and Brew same size as TANIC, and see how the visual balance look like.

I also would check if the color are making right contrast with tools like https://colourcontrast.cc/

But, I dont see why you need three different type of font, as i assume Botanic brew is poppins and you could use as main font and PT serif for details or bolding

First of all, great work! I also agree with Renato about the alignment. I would also add that, if this were being presented to a customer, color/hex codes, etc., would be important to include.

Hey guys,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! 🙏
It really means a lot to me and helps me grow as a designer! ☺️

I’ve implemented your suggestions and I’m really happy with the result!
Right now, I’m working on mockups, brand patterns, and brand assets – so I’ll upload an updated version here later this evening (CET).

I’m excited to hear your thoughts on the next version too! ☺️
