So do you think companies are mainly assessing for raw visual ability and product thinking instead? How do you communicate impact/value when something is a passion project (in deck presentations specifically)? If companies don’t look for moving metrics in early career, would you suggest just omitting “impact”?
Lessons learned or something like that.
I mean it just sounds kinda funny asking someone who’s skilled and just starting out “so what were the engagement metrics?” That advice of always needing metrics is so misguided and fails to actually apply to someone that’s extremely early in their career/haven’t had their first job.
