#Animal Farm Book Cover Design

Hey!
I believe the font for the author's name can be changed. I don't think it fits the rest of the content that you have. Keep it a sans-serif font and track out the leading just a tiny bit. It can also be just a tiny bit smaller as well.
I would play around with scale of the imagery, have some fun with it. I feel like you're constricting yourself by just putting it in the middle, it's just a cool illustration, make it really stand out. Def add some texture! I would try out grain, maybe some roughed up gravel, look at some possible grunge inspo? It can enhance your imagery and I feel like it would better fit the overall theme of the book (Animal Farm is one of my favs!).
As for the Animal Farm font, I think it's okay.. I know I have a personal preference with these types of things but I think something that would be cool would be to mess around with the positive/negative space of the word "animal" inside the imagery. Possibly have some of that book cover color show through?
