check that the grabbers have a solid contact

#

and just to cover grounds, have you tried updating the UART driver and checked that you have the right botbase flashed

also worthwhile to try a different port in case of pd issues

which arduino device r u using? i have arduino leonardo & it does same if i dont have microusb cable connected

with arduino leonardo, u need the UART connecting the device to PC & a microusb cable going from device to switch dock.

idk about other arduino devices

they are using a Teensy ++ 2.0
