When i plug RX to TX, the board lights up, but then the light turns off when i plug TX to RX from my UART to Leonardo. It also gets stuck on Connecting when using the computer control software, then Stopping when i press reset.

having TX-RX unplugged makes the RX light turn on on my UART, but plugging it in turns that light off and turns on a ON light on my leonardo. is the leonardo faulty?

i think i've got it sorted, i don't exactly know what i did and the lights aren't working but the software is fine. i'm sorry for submitting this and wasting your time but thank you.
