Hello, unfortunately the Home box sorter is not working nominal. I believe it has to do with the "capture box frame" of the dex entry, as currently the "capture box frame" cuts off the dex entry and dose not capture the whole number.
Maybe it is possible to move the "capture box frame" few pixel to the right?

@glass terrace would you like to take a look at this?

glass terrace

yes ! can you provide a screen (with the button in the PA program) ?

#

I can adapt the box, probably it moved since it was created ? I still have a few days where i'm available, after I'll be off a week and a half ^^

Thank you very much for looking into it.

Can you give me a screen though ? I do not have access to Arduino for a week and a half still

#

And access to my computer for still a few hours 😄

Me? Sure, is the one attached good? If not what would you like to see exactly?

Only one screen! In order to be able to add a test case for it. But I'm gone now so don't worry, I'll take a screen and add the test for it when I'm back !

Use the screenshot button on the automation software to capture the switch screen. Don’t use OS screenshot functionality because we want pixel accurate location of the boxes

glass terrace
#

Yes ! I'll do that in 10+ days now though. I do have my switches with me but no Arduino and no pc lul

Hello, @fiery mural the screenshot button on the automation software doesn't capture the boxes. Is there maybe a setting to turn that on?

But we don't know where the texts are on the screen under your language on your Switch! That's why we want you to capture the full Switch screen with pixel accuracy

glass terrace
#

I guess it's the same for all languages? My guess is that it changed to prepare for scarlet and violet compatibility

#

With 4 digit Pokedex numbers, it probably was shifted a bit ?

#

Weird that there wasn't more report but that's my guess 😄

Thanks for clarification Gin.
The location of the dex entry is not on the same spot for German and English version.
English version is working good. That might be why there are no issues reported.
I checked, the issue is since initial release 0.18.16 for German language.

glass terrace

Oh 😮 How could they do that ? sadman

#

Thanks for the images, it was really needed in the end 😄

glass terrace

fixed the issue and made sure french and english was still working

#

sorry for the delay, it will be fixed next release !

Hello
in version 3 of Pokemon Home, the sorting problem returns. The box for recognizing the national dex number cuts off the last digit again. Attached are screenshots. If more are needed let me know. Thank you very much

Hello,
the bug appeared again in the german version of Home with the national dex number. The box cuts off the last digit.
If you need more screenshots, I can post more.

@glass terrace we can save those screenshots of different languages into our command line tests to ensure this won't break again in future

glass terrace
#

Yes ! I think I added those back then ? I haven't noticed the last one and will add it once I'm back from Belgrade!

glass terrace
#

started to look at it. Adding tests would be doable but would require a refactor. The detector are embedded inside the program right now. So that's probably why there was no tests made lul (but I fixed the compilation of some internal program yaybulba

#

I'll run the python script on it to adjust the boxes

glass terrace
#

I had to reinstall python but oh well the box looks right now. I'll do a PR for that but won't be able to test "for real" before a little while

#

also for different languages
