noticed a high number of errors in the auto fish program when fishing in a specific spot on route 2

Hmm... maybe it's dropping the A press actually reel it in.

Can you post a video of it from when it first drops the line to when it times out? (IOW, never pulls it up.)

Also, have the output window visible so I can see it display in real-time.

Looks like it's detecting the hook too early. Something in the background is false positiving. Thonk

Lemme try to reproduce on my side. Can't say we've ever tested the program at that location.
