What is motivating this suggestion?

So there I was, cruising along in my Rustbucket thats held together with junk and synthetic tape. When all of a sudden, flak is going off on my left and right, the asteroid I had just passed was hiding a turret in its shadow. Now it's got me swerving back and forth, dodging and returning fire, during which the engine throttles and leaves me drifting. No worries, a flip there and a course correction here has the kitten down under purring again; however, thats not the end of my troubles, by far. Some Space-hole, or the locally stationed Central Empire, doubles down on my misfortune - someone caught sight of those mad-sick-nasty maneuvers and has to intervene. Commence more bobbing and weaving to get away, the bucket was left dented from the previous mishap, but now that tape is peeling off and some fuel is dripping down the back of my Panzer Rig. They got me sweatin', and the destination isn't far now, just around this space rock and we'll be home fr- Tick. Boom.

Now I'm scrap metal, floating around with the rest of the salvage, all because of a Space Mine.

What is your proposal?

New Landmark/Location/Destination - Medium to Small Size; Breachable Only(?); Hazardous - "Crashsite", or whatever.

The overall premise behind this new Point of Interest is to present a different challenge in reaching its valuables. Most of the Locations now are either unguarded, or watched over by some amount of Turrets. Now, what if, instead there was a landmark cluttered with Space Mines?

The presentation, the exterior, of the Landmark is in keen inspiration to that of Mining Frigate, where the Size alone is relevantly Medium-esque, and we could argue Merchant/Capital Ship being Small, then "Crashsite" would be the inbetween. First, take an asteroid, like that which Frigate sits upon, and slam a Merchant/Capital Ship inside/onto, so you've got this remnant of a failed landing being a marker for the keen eye. What does this have to do with Space Mines? Well, clearly, said failed landing scattered their cargo into the local vicinity creating a hazardous cloud of Space Mines. Otherwise, the idea of making it a "Breaching" only Location like Merchant or Frigate would lend to the pressure of having to navigate through the mine field; going in, and out.

Once inside, the interior, the primary focus of this "Destroyed Ship" would be to give Players the immersion of being in a more "Open" environment, reminding them they are still in Space, thus aiding the immersive mechanic of always being able to see your visor, and being on an Oxygen Tank/Time Limit. Let there be parts of the haul split wide to see the Mines and jettisoned bodies, shattered grounding exposing asteroid to metal; the other half of the "Map/Ship" being a contortion of Metal and Rock as though after the crash the remaining crew/AI bunkered down inside to hold out. The rest being a labyrinth of twisted metal from what was once halls, stairwells and whatever to create a ruined interior like some Salvador Dali trip. Obviously, with the interior being a broken hellscape, it might get confusing but allowing for there to be some ideal transition of "We breached the ship half" into "We're now delving the buried guts" from Metal into Rock, will still give a prominent impression for players to traverse. The ideal landmark being some "Very Large Open Room" centralized between the transitions, its purpose to further bestow upon the "Open" theme, and bottlenecking players to either see or engage each other. Other rooms still being a claustrophobic mess as to allow even close-quarter engagements, or to remain unseen through tight paths; therefore, a new Location which can still cater to a variety of playstyles.
