They aren’t necessarily random, if you run Spaceport a few times and just pay attention to where they are, they more often than not, have very predictable spawns and usually spawn near highly trafficked areas. I’ve lead more marauders to their deaths just by baiting them into a chase. Just got to look where you’re going and pay attention to where you’ll think they’ll spawn, typically even in doorways that spawn where there’s enough room to skirt around them.
