#Ship keycards are kind of boring

WHAT: what feature am I addressing
Ship keycards looted from enemy mauraders.
WHY: Why I am concerned/happy/mixed (include clips or personal experience if you can)
They are kind of boring just as loot, and possibly a free ship if you can find it.
HOW: How would you change/adapt this to make it better?
If you can bring back the keycard from the mission, instead of only being able to sell it, let us buy intel on the keycard about where the ship is actually docked/abandoned. Next missing it'll be spawned, and you'll have a general idea of where to go. It could be disabled so you'll have to bring fire extinguishers to repair it as well.

It'd be more interesting than just bring a keycard back home to sell.

that would cause issues i feel. i see what you are saying but then whatever dock it is in wouldn't be available for an actual player the next match. i think a better solution would be just the name of the gate their ship is parked at is labeled on the card.

Would be cool but might be more work than it’s worth, I think it’s a good thing that a ship is gone forever if you leave it. Maybe adding a market trade with the keycards would be fun.

Maybe a value scale according to the keycard holder’s rank. So a top leaderboard player’s card sells for more than lower ranks. *actually this could be fkn exploited, but imagine if it wouldn’t

Maybe let them become some kind of collectable thing like the Dog Tags in the Battlefield series? Showing stuff like for example: name, copies (brought their keycard back to your base to add to your collection) and maybe how many keycards they have?

Sure it wouldn't have any monetary value, but I'd think it would be cool way to show your dominance over the rest.

I feel bad for some of the ambushes my friends and I have had as we left our ship until I remember being on the other side.

Keycards could be an item to be traded in the market for say a large supply drop, etc.
