💡 What is motivating this suggestion?
Making the best of Marauders as a platform for underdog-tier guns from WW1, Interwar, WW2 to the Cold War from minor nations & underdogs to be given a chance to fight again.
The Chauchat has a long-lasting legacy of the Great War and even up to WW2 in countries other than France like (Belgium, Greece, Poland and Serbia) and should be a part of Marauders’ firearm ecosystem.
💡 What is your proposal?
Adding the Original Chauchat, Fusil Mitrailleur Modele 1915 CSRG chambered in 7.62 mm or .54R (Originally 8x50 mmR) under the Kingdom Alliance.
💡 Exactly and specifically, what should be changed and how?
As a more accessible select-fire automatic weapon for early-mid players and perhaps spawned in with new K.A. enemies (Rear-line Troopers or Great War Veterans).
A high-damage and good hip-fire (& ADS) mid-range gun balanced by Rate o’ fire and ammo capacity with decent durability.
Other Possible Special Models/Mods:
-
Chauchat with AA sights (improv. sight Mod made with metal/junk scrap.
-
Belgian Chauchat Variant (Improved damage/spread and reload speed)
3.Telescopic sight mod
The French Chauchat is an Iconic LMG of World War 1. It has a reputation as a jam machine, that was unreliable. I'm sure in some cases deserved, but when it's not exposed to the hell of trench warfare it was quite reliable. It was however a terrible gun to shoot.
