I know it sounds strange but hear me out.
Mag adapter that rechambered the PPSH-41 from 10mm to 9mm letting you use same amount of ammo and characteristics of ppsh but with slightly decreased dps

Idea came from this vid

welp it is easier to get a 9mm ammo than 10mm and as such this module could increase the playablility with this gun for less lucky players as well as if this adapter were to be bought from some seller who's unrelated to Cpt Wolff it would make into interesting tid bit of history both for history enthusiasts and lore seekers.

Today we take a look at one of the coolest submachine guns in military history, the Russian PPSH-41.

...Uhhhhh nobody will willingly use a mod that reduces the damage of a weapon that has an already common caliber, in favor of another common caliber. Expecially sense 9mm aint really that more common then 10mm if at all. Now reduced recoil? And perhaps the ability to stuff more bullets into a drum? Maybe.

Your suggestions are good but I wouldnt say 9mm is as common as 10mm. I often find myself not using 10mm guns because I only have 1 and a half mag for them. Meanwhile I can get atleast 30 rounds of 9mm per raid by spawning in the rustbucket. There also are many npcs like the sas that spawn with 9mm guns but only some commandos and security with 10mm. Having an option to reduce my ppsh in damage in exchange for more ammo and lower recoil sounds great.

Theres plenty of raiders and security that give you 10MM tho so it evens out

I feel it is not necessary to add changing calibers to weapons since the caliber is a big part of what makes each weapon distinct

It also complicates the game (unnecessarily) and doesn't add much for the effort to implement.
