💡 What is motivating this suggestion?
The only reason why we do raid quests every time is to get more items from the traders from different factions. Adding some more ways to interact with them would motivate players to improve relationships with factions.
💡 What is your proposal?
My proposal is to add ways to become neutral to factions and being able to get specific quest from them, as if you were mercenary, not marauder.
💡 Exactly and specifically, what should be changed and how?
While you improve your relationship with one of the faction, at some point of it (for example 10 lvl relationship) you would be able to become neutral to them.
How would it work? For example: you are going to the Navy Outpost. There are lots of K.A. SAS soldiers, but you want to loot this location peacefully all you need to do is to have neutral status to them.
BUT there would be some rules of the neutral status:
- As long as you don't use your weapon (shoot other players/bots) you won't be attacked.
- As long as bots don't see that you are trying to enter Vault, you won't be attacked.
- As long as you don't steal some intel/warbonds/crates of the faction you are neutral with, you won't be attacked (before you leave the location on your ship or escape pod, you will be checked for banned loot).
If you are attacked or you attacked someone from the neutral faction, you will lose 50 points of relationship.
Also the faction you are neutral with can give you specific quests. After you complete them you will be able to get supply crates/weapons/armor from this faction. But be careful, if the quest wants you to kill members of other factions or steal their loot, the relationship with that specific faction will get worse.
I think these changes would change the factions interaction with the player completely and will give more positive experience from this.
