💡 What is motivating this suggestion?
I've been in multiple ship battles so far and they feel extremely unrewarding mainly due to being unable to loot anything from anyone who gets into a pod, which is inevitable if as soon as their ship breaks they run for the pods.
💡 What is your proposal?
Simply, adding loot in space, lootable pods once they are shot down, and obviously a way to retrieve that loot.
💡 Exactly and specifically, what should be changed and how?
Add another control port like the steering and the turret for operating a short range "grapple hook" which can pull loot into the airlock, and have loot crates you can salvage from the wreckage surrounding the main raid as well as being able to pull in destroyed pods to salvage some loot.
In terms of balancing, maybe require the ship to be at a full stop to use the grapple, to stop people just doing a drive by, picking up some loot and dipping. Also destroying some of the gear/loot of anyone in a destroyed pod to keep an incentive to have a person to person fight.
