clicky title, but whenever I lay down on my stomache watching tiktok I pretty much stretch my neck (chin moves up/forward) and I lay on my neck (adams apple). I was singing a lot today and my lowest notes were around a2 before vocal fry then I noticed after watching 2 hours of tiktok I was easily hitting g2 before fry. g2 is my ideal goals tbh.

I know it's a bad habit but if there's any stretching research that helps make the voice lower would be lovely cuz cranking my neck sure isn't good for longterm health.

also I went from bright to pretty dark tambre.

in the example is a recording earlier, for practicing purposes and the harsh cut is just now. It's not fair to say it's a 1 to 1 comparison cuz I went slower/deeper but for sure I don't sound like this normally.
