3d print a replacement
I knew that will be answer.... will this finally be the reason to buy a 3D printer?
or ask a friend, or find an existing stl file and order a print -- there's a bunch of services out there
or make one.. shouldn't be much more than a dowel and a drill'ed out hole
I dont know a single person with a 3D printer... but drilling out a wood part will probably be the way to go
a lot of public libraries have 3D printers these days that you can use for the cost of consumables
That is pretty cool. But that is sadly not a thing here.
Saw this and figured I’d ping out cause in a similar situation, and was wondering if anyone knew any better solutions. My mother growing up would just use a block eraser, like a pink pearl. You cut out a small slot at the base and just slide it in. Maybe a good option for you
That is a great idea! Thanks for the tip!
I recomend the Olfa Snap off 30degree SAC-1
Thats been my replacement to xatos and i've never gone back .
They retract and are flat so they dont roll around.
A cork from a wine bottle
It won't have the pocket clip, tho
A piece of Styrofoam or xps rigid board insulation works well, and when it gets beat up just toss it and replace with a new chunk.
idk i just put it in can with drawing supplies blade down xd
