Hi all! I've got a super cheap miter saw, and I'm finding it isn't quite making the cut (pun intended). Anyone got any recommendations for a sliding miter saw? Also, anyone have any recommendations on what NOT to buy? Any and all info is appreciated 🙂

I'm not using it all that often but so far I'm pretty happy with my Metabo KGS216M which I got 9 years ago.
I paid 170€ for it at the time.
Plus 45€ for a metal blade for it as I mostly use it for aluminum.

I'm not really seeing that available in my area... maybe I should stick with Craftsman, DeWalt, and Makita (among other US brands)

What's your budget and what materials do you cut? I used Bosch and Ryobi before and they're both alright. Only used the Ryobi for cutting framing lumber and the Bosch was used for lots of hardwoods like exmaple, walnut and oak. Both of them did the job for me, they're no longer with me though
