#Decent stripped screw/bolt extractor set?

Depends a bit on what it's for, I generally recommend a helicoil set.
But with those you're supposed to drill out the hole to a larger diameter than it initially was, tap it, and then insert the helicoil and then put in a new fastener.
Helicoils are a lot stronger as far as repairs go for aluminium and steel parts.
Completely useless for compressible/highly ductile and brittle materials though.
You can find cheaper sets from other manufacturers, we didn't use the Stanley ones either on space hardware 😛
But a well placed helicoil is better than the original thread in most instances, because it will change the way the material is loaded. The helicoils are very resilient, and transfer the load into the part in a way that ensures the thread won't fail again.
Alternatively, I use the screw/bolt extractors from Irwin if I really must.
If the screws are not totaly flush with the surface the engineer Vise-Grips also work well.
