I understand that the game War Robots uses Denuvo to protect the game, but does it really do any good? Every day I see players going through walls, flying around the map at impossible speeds, destroying others with a single shot from basic weapons, being invincible, capturing beacons without even being on top of them, etc.
I suggest that you focus more on detecting anomalies on the server side rather than the client side. In the world of cybersecurity, protecting only the client side is a serious offense (CWE-602). For example, if the server detects someone leaving the map or passing through the ground, they should be kicked from the game. You could apply simple rules such as that a robot cannot travel from one end of the map to the other in less than one second, or that it cannot destroy 5 robots using only one ammo of a weapon that is not even enough to damage a single one.
If they focused on server-side security rather than client-side security, they might achieve better results and prevent the system from becoming plagued by criminals as it is now. They should also add the cybersecurity category to these posts.
