Titan Primary and Secondary Abilities:

Primary Ability: Temporal Mantle
Duration: 11 seconds / Cooldown: 15 seconds

  • Aegis Shield Activation – A constant, full yellow dome shield encases the Titan, absorbing incoming damage based on capacity. Remains active after Temporal Mantle ends, but becomes directly vulnerable once Absorber Shield expires.

  • Absorber Shield Engagement – A purple, reactive energy shield that triggers only upon enemy fire. It briefly appears at the point of impact and absorbs the incoming damage without durability loss. However, it is limited to registering only a limited closest enemy attacks per impact window. Any attacks beyond the limited proximity-ranked enemies will not be absorbed and will directly strike the Aegis or Titan.

  • Target Prioritization – The Absorber Shield selects the recent or near by enemies based on distance to the Titan at the moment of impact.

  • Energy Conversion: At the heart of the Titan’s design lies its most formidable trait: an advanced energy conversion system that turns enemy aggression into offensive dominance. As long as the Absorber Shield is active and collecting energy from incoming attacks, it redirects that raw force into a seamless feedback loop that supercharges the Titan’s weapon systems. For energy weapons, this means the ability to sustain longer bursts of concentrated fire, extracting every available charge from the Absorber and channeling it into extended attack windows. Meanwhile, ballistic weapons benefit from near‑instant reload cycles, refilling ammo not as a pause between attacks, but mid‑volley. In other words, as long as the Absorber continues to draw in enemy energy, the Titan can maintain relentless pressure, creating a state where its weapons simply never run dry. More than just a boost to damage and efficiency, this mechanic reshapes the flow of battle itself. The Titan becomes a looming threat that discourages enemies from focusing their attacks, knowing that every shot fired only fuels its devastating retaliation. In this way, the Energy Conversion system transforms aggression into power, making the Titan a force that grows stronger the more its foes attempt to break it.

Once the 11 seconds expire:

  • Absorber Shield disengages
  • Aegis Shield remains, but is now vulnerable to all incoming fire

Secondary Ability: Eclipse Veil
Duration: 5 seconds | Cooldown: 15 seconds

  • The Titan activates Eclipse Veil, enveloping itself in a luminous red plasma shield. During this state, enemies that successfully land a hit are instantly disoriented, their targeting and locking systems are disrupted for 5 seconds, rendering them unable to aim effectively. The veil lasts for 5 seconds, after which it dissipates, and its cooldown period of 15 seconds begins.

  • This ability grants the Titan a critical offensive and defensive edge during engagements, allowing it to obscure its presence and create openings for counterattacks while neutralizing key threats in its vicinity. It pairs seamlessly with Temporal Mantle, making the Titan a formidable force in both close and long-range encounters.

Their Backgrounds:

#

Eugeñio & Cosmic Aegir
Eugeñio was once a veteran pilot in the waning years of the great war, an era when Titans were built not for quantity, but precision. At 35, he was handpicked for a special operations unit comprised of only five experimental Titans, the Aegir-class, built to dominate hostile environments where others would falter. Assigned Unit-C Model-Alpha-05, the fifth and final Titan of this line, he became a quiet legend: a man whose connection to the machine was said to be seamless, almost symbiotic. The Titan itself, nicknamed Cosmic Aegir, was a beast of tempered steel and old-world engineering, brutal in its design, built to soak punishment and return it tenfold. Its shield dynamics allowed it to protect its pilot from limited simultaneous threats, converting aggression into offensive strength. But it came with a limitation, making it a calculated risk for every mission. When the war collapsed upon itself and the world descended into silence, Eugeñio and the Cosmic Aegir were lost to the ruins of an abandoned temple. An accident sealed him within the cockpit, triggering a hibernation state that preserved him in emergency cryostasis across 90 years. Upon being rediscovered, Eugeñio emerged disoriented, memories fragmented, yet instinctively bound to the Titan that was both weapon and tomb. Though now 125 years old by the measure of time, he is in truth a man suspended between epochs, a relic of a bygone era, waking to a world that no longer knows him, yet still needs the force he can command.

Neo Rinn & Prime Aegir
Neo Rinn, just 25, grew up amid the ruins of that same war. An engineering prodigy with a fierce, hopeful edge, she became one of the youngest lead specialists in Titan engineering, drawn to the recovery site where the dormant Cosmic Aegir was unearthed. What she discovered reshaped her path entirely. The old machine spoke a language of strength and sacrifice, and from its bones came the blueprint for a new era of Titan design. The result was Prime Aegir, a sleek and elegant evolution, a feminine silhouette concealing devastating force. Unlike its ancestor, Prime Aegir was built for precision and agility, making it an ideal match for a pilot like Neo Rinn. Trained first as a technician, she rose to pilot status through sheer will and ingenuity, channeling every lesson learned from the old machine and its resurrected occupant. At 25, she operates a Titan that embodies the ideals of resilience and adaptation, looking forward while honoring the relic that came before. Together, she and Eugeñio form a rare bond across time and technology, one a warrior lost to an old war, the other a beacon for a new one. Both Titans bear the name Aegir, but together, they carry its legacy to a future that will remember its roots.
