Hi can anyone explain why the howler weapons reload time says 1.2 sec but it is actually 6 sec reload not sure about the screamer as I've only just acquired the howler?? 🤷🏻‍♂️

probably 1.2 seconds per volley and there's 5 volleys so 6 seconds for the whole clip. I don't see people juggling screamer and howler reloads so they're probably the same thing. You can check out the War Robots wiki Fandom page though. It's got detailed data

So, these weapons have the same reload mechanic as Cinder and Fainter, where they reload after firing. Think of it like a magazine mixed with the reload whilst firing

#

Essentially, the 1.2 seconds it lists is how long the weapon needs before it starts reloading. In other words; once you stopped firing for 1.2 seconds, it'll start reloading

#

It's important to know that the burst duration will count towards the reset timer. This means after the burst has finished, it'll start reloading

#

Due to the nature of these weapons, it's best to let them fully reload, as you get more DPM.

the reload is per round since the weapons reload while firing, unlike weapons like punishers where the size is X large. 6s is for the initial clip, the person above does a good job explaining how they work. unrelated but I like how the weapons take a fair bit of time to reload compared to unload speed, at least the balancing team put a little thought into them lol

also dont know if this has been noticed but if you fire only 2 shots it wont start reloading at all you have to fire the third shot for it to start reloading. so keep that in mind when using it
