War Robots should have a Highlander effect. For when you kill people. You instantly absorb/collect the boosters/bonuses that the person you killed has collected. To speed up your modules max capacity boost stats. So in short, if your modules aren't boosted then you kill someone who's is. You gain all their boosted module stats onto your own modules to instantly get yours going.
