What get precedence? A module that gives immunity to defense mitigation or a weapon that ignores defense points?

Depends on the era

#

The Gauss sniper rifle ignored defense points, but not reflector shields. When the Theseus pilot arrived for Skyros, although it was defense points the sniper rifle couldn't bypass it. Titan Alpha weapons can bypass basic defense points but not Reflectors or Phalanx shields (Seraph shields). The Reaper sniper rifle can bypass every type of defense, but doesn't go through Energy, Aegis, or Physical shields.

The Blastcharge effect that some weapons have ignores defense and Reflectors, but not the Theseus pilot if i'm correct.

You are diluting the question. It wasn't about deflector shields or force fields.
Let me be more specific, the titan repair module gives titans immunity to defense mitigation, the reaper weapon ignores defense points. Which one wins since you can't have both? They cancel each other out.

The Reaper

What I said earlier was that as time moved on, the answer to your question changed.

#

I mentioned reflector shields and Seraph shields because they were also a large part of the changes over time.

#

Also, the main reason tools were created to bypass things is because things had problems. Reflectors were too powerful at one point, and so were defense points, Seraph shields, aegis shields, physical shields, absorber shields, and some other individual defense systems like Leech has.

but that's what keeps the bots alive

and makes them powerful

Well that's why they were countered - there was a point for almost every robot when it was overpowered. There are only a few robots that have never gotten nerfs.

Does the guass/weber weapons bypass the titan repair amp too? I haven't tried them out on titans recently
