i just asked this same thing, i currently have a boombox devastator and a cryptic redeemer on it, so depending on the lvl of the lynx and the gear, you might want to use ranged weapons until you get better close range weapons and upgrade the lynx

And I can do 24k dmg everyshot

true, but thunders arent energy weapons, and do thunders deal unrepairable damage that extends the grey zone that cant be healed with each shot? (also i sold the thunders im too cheap to buy new ones)
