Imo the punchers can't do much by itself. You might as well go with the heavy incinerators

If you are using the paralysis you also add a bit more stack to everyone it exploded on

not at all, scorchers don't deal enough dmg imo (and now i'll get yelled at by some), while puncher is not the best close range dmg option anymore, if you want to keep both blast and lockdown effects in the loadout i'd suggest to go for a mace hammer build with paralysis, may not be the best for the drone but you'll keep both effects available to you
