Eddie makes them fire faster, therefore getting that damage in faster.

Well yeah, but not in the long run. A dry fire buff will help a lot more - the Original Corona and Halo reloads are the perfect example of this. Thay used to reload once per second, and fire every .5 seconds. Now, the yhave a much faster firing perios, but their dry fire is much worse. Although you can get a lot of damage in really quickly, the lack of a sufficient reload makes the weapons much worse.
