Innovative: 7/10
"The submission heavily depends on how steam travels, and with the assistance of steam cranks that players can toggle, players can effectively direct steam to the goal of each level.

The submission also makes use of the level's goals being Steam Vents in conjuction with the Adventure Item - Crystal Goblet and Gateway to Adventures blocking progress if players still possess the goblet with them, which must be destroyed with the vents."

Practicality: 5/10
"This submission is game-focused, and as such, will be graded by how fun it is.

While in the early levels, the mechanic involving steam is fun to play with, as you progress to the Steam Collector section, by the second level, the timing margin is so small, it requires near-perfect gameplay, which gets frustrating after many tries."

Elegance: 10/10
"The submission doesn't seem to be using more steam parts than necessary.

The submission's positioning of the steam parts also blend seamlessly in the design, making it look clean."

Overall: 6.4/10

NOTE - This submission would likely require me to request a live demonstration and QnA in order to provide a fair feedback. If you are interested in receiving feedback on this for fun, please let me know.

Innovative: 8/10
"The submission makes use of more advanced setups involving buffers to help support the machine being able to reveal new notes each cycle.

The submissions also use delay setups to support delay between notes, allowing for more customisation of the tune that can be programmed into the setup."

Practicality: 3/10
"Most of the penalty from this criteria primarily lies in the difficulty in programming a new tune - not only would you need to design a configuration for Steam Organs and the delay setups for each tune you want to use, but you would probably need to spend around 5 or more minutes to set everything up, which is not convenient when having to host multiple rounds. You would also likely need to store the configurations for each tune somewhere if you are unable to learn the setups by heart.

Another significant flaw with this setup is that this setup is not suitable to host with sound - it would be near impossible to play this game as the sounds of the organs would likely be drowned by the sounds of jumping and punching."

Innovative: 9/10
"The submission primarily relies on the SR latch (state storing) setup keeping Steam Doors open or closed reliably, which incorporated Steam Valves - something that I had no idea what to possibly use for.

The setup to reset all Steam Doors to its open state and randomly close some doors is also very elegant due to its compactness, making use of the fact Steam Revolvers prioritise making steam upwards."

Practicality: 8/10
"This setup is primarily focused on fun, and as such will be judged as so.

The setup practically resets itself upon starting, so no need for any manual intervention. There are concerns that the setup can potentially be sabotaged through lag (e.g. players deliberately trying to lag themselves so they stay in the set/reset area of the game and potentially change the setup halfway. This is likely an edge case, so it won't be a large factor of the penalty in this criteria.

The two-life mechanic seems a bit too harsh in my opinion, but I have yet to do the math to formalise the proof for this though. Definitely could tone it down a bit for more casual gameplay."
