We're excited to once again host the annual Kentucky Derby Race Event which will be conducted tomorrow, May 3rd! All of you are invited to come and join us in-game for the Derby Races which will take place over 24 hours to cover all time-zones (starting at 00:00 GT Time). Get ready to saddle up!

The moderation and community teams have been hard at work reviewing and testing all of the worlds the community has submitted for the Kentucky Derby World Building Contest, and the following top 20 worlds will be the ones used for the event:

We'll be awarding a Mint Julep to all participants who are first across the finish line during scheduled races! All of which will be awarded after the event concludes and an eligibility review is concluded. You can find a preliminary list of race winners & more info in #race-winners.

Our Discord will also be filled with giveaways with themed-prizes to get your hands on inbetween the races, so be sure to join us over in #🎉giveaways channel!

The world DERBYHUB will be open for the duration of the event to showcase and allow easy access to all of the worlds we'll be hosting the events in. Broadcasts will be sent out before each session starts.

On top of the above Top 20 Race Winners, we also had some bonus categories. The worlds that distinguished themselves in the following categories are:

  • Best Design - THEGLAMPROM by JonVince
  • Best Gameplay - MARIOKARTSTADIUM by SHiels
  • Most Creative - FORESTBY by Brik321

These players will receive an additional Growmoji Moyai.

The 2025 KYDERBY event is now over - thanks for racing with us again this year, we had a blast! We broke another record this year and managed to host 603 races, so a huge thank you to all of the staff who pitched in to make that happen! gtPartyMoyai

The final eligibility checks will begin over the coming few days, and I'll update you when milestones of progress are hit over in #race-winners. Once the checks are complete a full list of Mint Julep winners will be posted here and on the forums.

We look forward to racing with you again next year!

To avoid any doubt on when these checks will be finalised and Mint Juleps will be awarded they will all be given on June 1st.
