I have the problem that my ISP only offers DS-Lite. That's not bad so far, but I can only reach my Minecraft server via IPv6. That is not a problem either, since almost all my friends have IPv6. Even for those who don't have IPv6 yet, I rent a VPS for € 2.60. This also works fine when I redirect the Minecraft server traffic via the VPS. The only problem I have now is that I have to use other domain names for IPv6 / IPv4 connections to the server. If I put an A record and an AAAA record on the same domain, Minecraft automatically favors the connection to the IPv4 host. But this is unnecessary because it increases the ping for everyone who has native IPv6. So I'm looking for a solution to tell the Minecraft client that it should try to establish an IPv6 connection to the server, and only if that is not possible to use IPv4.
I thank you in advance for your answers <3
And pls don't ask why don't rent a Minecraft Server?
The Answer is easy, cause I have the capacity on my Homeserver, to offer a Minecraft Server for 10 Players, in addition, my home server is running 24/7 anyway so I also can use the left capacity
