Eggs not hatching

When throwing chicken eggs, or hatching turtle/sniffer eggs, the eggs break/crack but never hatch their mob, is it possible to change this?

A lot of these were actually only added after making the post originally, so the plugins i list here **shouldnt **be at fault:
afkkicker, anticreeper, bigdoors, craftenhance, dropheads, epicrename, worldedit, minecartspeedplus

also how many times have you tried throwing the egg?

A lot, it also affects things like turtles and sniffers which should always hatch them normally

soo it's not an issue of being unlucky

ok now maybe a very stupid question, but are you able to summon a chicken/turtle/other?

Yeah, we can summon them with commands and eggs

as in like spawn eggs lol
