yo I've been having a big problem with lighting nether portals on my server and was wondering if anyone had similar issues? Running latest version of spigot with nether enabled. The only plugins I have are factionsuuid, vault, clearlag and luckperms. I can go to the nether if I use /setblock to create nether portal blocks so I know the worlds are linked
I only updated about an hour ago so I might retry the update to see if that fixes it as I know it was supposed to be fixed

And it is not safe to use IP to restrict, because some server hoster will distribute different ports of the same IP to different user, there is a potential security risk. The reasonable method is to have a security check between the bungeecord and spigot

@safe canopy if you used a decent hosting provider that isn't an issue
for instance, I have 13 ipv4 addresses that never change and are exclusively for my use only. as well as an entire /32 block for ipv6
so yes it is safe to restrict by ip, but if you are using a VPS hosting provider which they tend to use the same ip for multiple VPS's then the only thing you can really do is create a tunnel from your VPS to whatever other machine, but this doesn't really work if you expect your IP to change

Second, your gender was of no consideration here. Third, basically everyone that comes here for support more often then not, does not actually do the leg work of testing them because guess what, there is no best plugin. Its subjective in which is because it varies between person and person in what features they want or don't want.
