gaming PC build for longevity

Hi All, I'm trying to specify a build for a family member who likes to make sure things last as long as possible.
Budget is £3,600 (I'm a little over with my build)
Intended purpose is gaming (typically RTS and other strategy games, FPS games are unlikely)
Monitor will probably be bought separately - will probably be an ultra wide QHD.
Buying from UK. Aiming for a longevity build - something that won't require swap outs for a while.

You can drop down to the 64gb of Pro DDR5 5600mhz CL46 RAM and that puts you below £3,500

I wouldn't bother with Norton Antivirus either

9800x3d and 9850x3d run almost identical but apparnelty 9850 in some cases will use more power

Decent saving for a superior system

helps when you reduce 64gb ram to 32gb

1000w psu would only really be needed if they are going to upgrade to a xx90 nvidia gpu in the future

seperate 500gb drive would keep windows seperate from his games as well
