hello, im looking into getting a new pc but have basically no clue whats best for what im looking for,
i have a budget of £2,400 and intend to use it for gaming at 4k with good fps, my monitor can run 4k @144hz, Im buying from the UK.
i can stretch the budget a little if needed.

If it was me, I'd spend the extra £21 for the 1000w PSU. Whilst the 850w is fine for the 5080, power requirements have been going up each generation of GPU so it would give you a little headroom if you change the GPU down the line and it needs more power. The motherboard I know ASUS have had there issues since the 9800x3D launch but not sure if they have got their act together yet or not...would need someone more up-to-date on that
