#What is the best laptop for me?

with your budget I'd recommend to just hold onto the current machine and save more, laptop parts are expensive as is, a "strong" GPU is subjective, but I'd say that starts at the 5070, and the RAM isn't cheap either.
just completing the RAM, CPU and GPU requirements given burst the 1200 by over 100GBP, adding decent storage will kill that even harder
I don’t have a current machine though
#762988481634369556 message what was this about then?
If I wanted to change out the elimina CPU for a Ryzen ai 9
Ah at a later point I guess
I’m currently looking at an Elimina pro intel core i7 with 64GB a rtx 5060 and 1TB crucial p310 for £1236 is that a good deal?
Yeah
But I wasn’t sure which parts would be soldered or not
all PCS laptops have soldered CPUs and GPUs, so swapping isn't really possible, you swap the whole motherboard to change any one part
if you wanted to use an AMD AI CPU, you don't have much of a GPU to go with it
Same with laptops from many places though afaik - ie youre stuck with what you start with
and re the 5060, I'd personally never use that in a desktop, much less a laptop
What about the 5050 or 5070?
What graphics card would you recommend?
5050 is worse than a 5060
