Its generally better to have a small fast drive for windows and then other bigger drives for everything else.
As for whether 4TB is enough, it really depends on the person and what you'll be putting on there, for many 4TB is plenty

Well it makes it easier if you need to reinstall windows, means everything on the second drive is still safe, whereas on the windows drive, everything would get wiped
Not a necessity, but is a very good idea, also measn that Widnows drive wont get full as you wont be putting anything on there - and SSD's get slower as they get fuller
