for 1440p gaming your budget isn't really possible, and even at 1080p it's painfully tight

it's not a GPU I'd personally call 1440p, but it's capable of outputting decent FPS if you're willing to dial back some settings

a bigger PSU and leaving all else the same, you could get an RX 9070 in there for 1580 GBP, a very solid 1440p GPU, one that compares favorably to the 5070
