I’m very close to buying a PC Specialist Gaming PC but looking at every case that they offer none of them have ports on the back side of the PC which I find weird can anybody help?

They will all have the motherboard back plate on the back and all the GPU ports - the case pictures are just the cases not including all the gubbins

Thanks for creating a spec thread!

Please be sure to include answers to the following questions so people can assist you quicker.

  • What is the purpose of your PC/laptop? (e.g. gaming, general work, 3D rendering)
  • What monitor resolution will you be using? (e.g. 1080p, 1440p, 4k)
  • What is your budget including currency symbol? (e.g. £2,000, 1000€)
  • Which country are you purchasing from? (Note that we only operate in the UK and Europe)
  • Any brand preferences?

yep, as Rakk said, the ports will be on the back, exactly what ports will be based on the GPU(if you get one) and the motherboard you pick

#

if you need something specific like PS/2 ports, then you will need to select a board that offers that, otherwise you may need adapters, as many of the now specialty ports are pretty much obsolete for joe/jane average

USB ports depend on the mobo you pick
Video output ports on a GPU are four these days (mix between DP and HDMI)
