Gaming PC Advice

Hi all,

I've recently decided to get myself a new gaming PC (more so because my fiance is using mine!) . I bought one on Thursday this week, however I am now having to cancel it due to all the news that has come out about the 13th and 14th gen of Intel CPUs. I am paranoid that I will end up with issues, so I am after some suggestions on specs for what I will need from an AMD perspective instead. I have never used AMD gear so I am lost on what I'd need. I will post what my PC was going to be, and then from there you guys can hopefully help suggest something else?

My budget is hopefully going to be around the same (Max £1600).
I am using a Gigabyte M28U for my monitor
I am in the UK
The purpose of my PC is for gaming. I play a lot of FPS games, Destiny 2 particularly, but I am after playing more titles since I am moving from PS5 to PC. Cyberpunk, Minecraft, some VR gaming as I have a Meta Quest 3.

If you drop the CPU down to 7700X then you're just £49 over budget

120 over isn't exactly terrible when I'm considering such a sizeable purchase! I assume there would be no difference between the 4070 I had on my og build and the one you have selected on yours?

Bar that, honestly it's perfect. Avoids the intel cpu issue
