Help with my Gaming PC build

Hi everyone, I'm looking to get a new gaming pc as the one I have is about 6 or 7 years old. I've put a build together and looking to see if you guys would be so kind to look over it for me as my pc building knowledge is quite limited.

• Budget is 2k/2.5k (willing to wiggle a little if the change was necessary/impactful)
• Main purpose is for gaming
• Using 1440p
• Purchasing from UK
• No particular brand preference

generally looks good, but you went for big brand names that do you no favors,

I changed to a 360mm AIO, that should be mounted up top,
3 extra "standard" ARGB fans(iCue is a PITA on a good day, this keeps the lighting controll on one system),

changed to a slightly higher end motherboard that includes wifi(dropped the extra wifi card),

changed the storage to one fast drive, and one bigger storage

if you opt to get more flashy, the RAM version of the RAM kit will bring the spec I made for you to 3 over the original you made.

for max rainbow vomit you can also get the stimmer kit, but they don't improve performance, just adds even more lights

Thanks alot for taking time to look at my spec mate.

I guess i chose the extra case fans just to ensure the extra cooling. Quick question, is the liquid cooling a necessity, had a bad experience with it before. Was the Deepcool AK620 a bad choice?

yes and no, it's fine for the 7800X3D, but excess cooling is always good to have, and the AIO is a bit cheaper too

it would also make the PC look tidier with an small pump block over the CPU and the AIO on top,

Thanks for your time mate, see your point about the cooling, I think that one bad experience has just put me off liquid cooling 😅

now im in two minds lol
