  • Purpose is for general office use and light development with an intent to be able to use to develop/use AI/LLM application, therefore the 12GB RTX 4070

Questions:

  • Is there a better graphics card for LLM at around the same price point?? I have basically picked the fastest/highest memory Nvidia card within budget , would a 16GB 4060 Ti be better? There is a not unsignificant graphics performance difference, which I hope translates to AI calculation performance, but 16GB would be better, as soon as you have a model larger than 12GB, which might not be so common today? I'm not sure?
  • Is it worth it to upgrade to the better USB, I have no need for fast USB today, but no idea what I might need in 1-2 years?
