There is a lot that can improved here

#

Is the i7 14700K good at gaming? Yes it will be

#

Is it too late to make changes?

#

Except the cpu

#

@fathom basin

#

Perfect

#

Could you let me me know what your budget is

#

Yes for gaming, I'd recommend the 7800X3D over the 14700K

#

OK ok

#

With your current build your missing out on soooo muxh performance

#

I'll spec you one up rn

#

First of all you went for a ddr4 system

#

Instead of DDR5

#

So your sacrificing a lot of performance there already

#

Old motherboard that's why

#

You didn't go on the option for ffrs on the website

#

Il send you a link of the improvements I recommend and you can let support know ASAP

Yeah you will need to contact support to change the configurator (which will allow access to different motherboards, cpus and ddr5

#

The motherboard has wifi integrated

#

This will get you soooo much more fps and will be faster

#

Very noticable

#

Yup

Happy to help emoji_48

#

Both great, but 7800X3D is the best for gaming 🙂

#

No worries!

#

this motherboard is more than perfect for your needs

#

you could get a slightly more expensive motherboard but it would be overkill

#

but you could get the ASUS TUF X670 if you really want to

#

but i dont think you need to : )

#

yupp

You dont need the extra thermal paste, Corsair AIO coolers have their own very decent paste pre-applied

If you already have a windows license that you are no longer going to use on its current machine, yes you can transfer it over to your new one - a license is valid for one machine only though so you would not be able to use it on that old machine anymore

It will have a test/trial/unactivated version of Windows on it, probably the Home version so if you were going to transfer your license over (ie not use it on the old machine), since its Pro youd really want a clean install of Windows anyways - you can easily get the installation media from Microsoft (make sure you hava USb stick to spare - at least 8GB in size) - thats what I do
