if i order a pc when everything is in stock but then one component (the ssd) goes out of stock when the system is in pre production would i have to wait until it gets back into stock ? If i dont want to wait could i just get a 256gb ssd instead ?

I’m sure if you contact them and say that you’d rather opt for a different SSD then there’s no harm in it. At most you may get a credit note or they receive stock in the following day

PCS tends to email you if something goes out of stock prior to building, they might upgrade that option for free, or advise you you can change the selection in the configurator, which happens to you all depends on lots of factors
