We can't always guess genetics by appearance!

If you have questions about the genetics of your pet reptile, please come prepared with the lineage of your pet (what its parents were). If you do not have this information, DO NOT EXPECT US TO JUST BE ABLE TO PRODUCE AN ANSWER OUT OF NOWHERE.

At best, we will be able to take an educated guess (should we have someone who is experienced with that species), but any guess taken by our staff or helpers should be taken with a grain of salt, and should not be considered as an infallible truth; it's a guess for a reason. There are some species in which it is just not possible for us to tell without the lineage of it, so if we say “we don't know,” please respect that--we are just trying to avoid giving out false information.

She was tiny, I’ve been trying to get her fatter. She’s a lot better, but she was about 40 grams when I got her. She’s now 49, which is a lot better. I’m trying to get her off the only super worm diet for a while, but she’s a very picky gecko.
